Primary / High School and Beyond
Julia offers individualised speech therapy for students attending primary, high school or adults who experience difficulty in any of the below areas:
- Reading accuracy - Spelling - Dyslexia - Language-based problem solving - Language processing - Reading comprehension - Language text understanding and creation (narratives, expositions/debating, recounts, information reports and extended essays) - Language structure and convention (grammar, vocabulary, syntax, tone, style and audience awareness) - Written language - Expressive speech - Attention and memory - Support with social skills - Confidence building and resilience - Organisation and planning, mindset and self-awareness - Life skills For more information about speech pathology assisting school-age children, please refer to this link: 'Speech Pathology Increases Student Potential'. Modified and individually tailored support is provided for students attending primary and high school (and beyond) who require assistance either on a short or long-term ongoing basis. Therapy programs are available for students completing life skills programs or who will be completing a transition into TAFE as a component of high school studies. Older students and adults who seek any level of assistance, including life skill supports are welcomed to Clarity Speech and encouraged to be in contact with Julia to discuss individual needs. |
